| A Post Graduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi and a Doctorate in Economics from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA and MBA in Management from University of Lubhajana, Slovenia, Europe) had a brilliant academic record. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1980 and allotted to AP cadre. Since then, he held many important positions right from the District Collector & Magistrate to Principal Secretary to Government and presently is serving as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is Chairman of Hyderabad Metro Rail project costing about RS. 12,000 crores. |

Earlier he successfully launched a massive Irrigation Development Programme called Jalayagnam within a very short time of six months and finalized tenders for over Rs.30,000 crores and ground all the projects successfully.
He was a Faculty Member in California and taught Economic Theory, Development Economics, Policy & Planning Environmental Economics and assisted Professors in several research projects.
Currently, he is a member of the American Economic Association; Member of International Indian Economic Association etc. Several significant publications are to his credit on variety of subjects in different journals.
